The American Gladiators TV franchise is moving to the big screen, Variety has learned.
The popular NBC program, which pits amateur athletes against themselves and the show’s own “gladiators” in a show strength, agility and endurance contests, has been adapted in fourteen countries since its introduction in 1991.
